March 19, 2011

It's 11:45 p.m. I am barely making my blog post for the day, but apparently I am too anal to let it slide.  I am exhausted.  I didn't sleep at all last night.  We ran errands this morning then Ellary, Shila and I went to the park for Ellary's friend's birthday. It was a beautiful day, but the weather was a bit hot... in the lower 90s.  We ran into some friends after the party and ended up spending the better part of the day there.  After the park we rushed home to meet Adam and go to a hockey game with his coworkers.  We cheered on the Gwinnett Gladiators and didn't get home until after 10:00 p.m. I couldn't believe the girls made it through the entire game.  I was counting on them wanting to head home early.

March 18, 2011

Happy Friday!  We had a beautiful day today.  It was in the upper 80s!!  I wish we would have been able to get out a bit more to enjoy it, but we were busy today.  After Ellary got home I took the girls shopping for summer clothes and had a vision of what it is going to be like shopping with/for 3 girls... INSANE!  All in all we had a good time and managed to also pick up a boys gift for a birthday party Ellary is attending tomorrow.

Here are the only two pictures I took today.  I had planned on taking some when we got done shopping, but our adventure lasted much longer than anticipated.

Today is my Aunt Cynthia's birthday.  I found these pictures from her wedding to my Uncle Keith and thought it would be fun to post them.  I love a good excuse to pull out classic photos.  Happy Birthday Auntie Cynthia.  I love you very much.

March 15, 2011

It seems we have a couple of beautiful days and then we are back to a couple days of rain and gloom.  Today was a rainy gloomy day.  We spent it indoors cleaning, organizing, reading, playing and watching t.v.  Adam came home early and we went to Pizza Vito for Alpharetta Elementary Family Night.  Monthly AES will have a family night at a local restaurant and 20% of the sales will be donated to the school.  Ellary was really excited when I took them to a Chic-fil-A event a number of months ago and she really wanted to attend tonight.  She loves to see her friends and teachers outside of school, unfortunately tonight we didn't see anyone from her class.

Getting ready to leave.

A note about birthdays.  I have been thinking about the fact that between all my family and friends I could be posting birthday wishes every day (and missing ones too).  I am trying to post wishes for those who I know follow my blog or who's picture I have come across recently, or people who I celebrate with regularly, and even that can be overwhelming.  Keep in mind, I love you all, so please don't feel excluded if I miss one.  Also, I don't know who follows my blog unless you tell me or you have registered.

It's my intelligent, beautiful, loving cousin Cheyenne's birthday today.  You have turned out to be an extraordinary young woman Cheyenne.  Happy Birthday!!  Love you.
