This morning the girls wanted to watch Coraline 3D. It drives me crazy when they want to watch a 3D movie because they never keep the glasses on and they end up watching the movie in 3D without the glasses (which looks horrible) In the past I have used a rubber band and wrapped each ear piece holding it to their heads, but this morning I had a stroke of genius... I put one of their stretchy head bands on and stuck the glasses under it. It worked perfectly!! No complaining. No glasses falling off. Fabulous solution.
Growing belly. Growing baby. The baby is approximately 13 inches and 1.5 pounds.
While I was upstairs getting my belly picture taken Ellary calls up to me, "Mom, you need to come take a picture of this for your blog." They were downstairs on the Dora couch cuddled up watching a show. They cuddle like this all the time. It really is cute.
The weather was supposed to be beautiful today (it ended up being a bit chilly) and earlier in the week we had planned to get out and enjoy the day. Adam decided he wanted to pick a place and surprise us. We packed a picnic lunch and ended up at the Chestatee Wildlife Preserve. They are a non-profit organization licensed to rescue exotic animals and wildlife. We saw lions, tigers, bears, wolves, monkeys, snakes, etc... Oh, and the "world" famous zedonk (a zebra donkey mix if you didn't already know) Adam took all the pictures at the preserve.
We got to pet the zebra which was rather exciting. She was very friendly.
The donkeys were friendly as well.
Here we are with Pippi the famous zedonk.
On this day in 2010...
We were at Wills Park for the Alpharetta Arbor Day Celebration.
