Adam took the day off from work today.  He has a surplus of vacation time that he will lose at the end of the year if he doesn't use it.  We spent the first part of the day around the house and when Ellary got home we took the girls to the park.

On this day in 2009...

We were at Halloween, Hayrides and Haunts.

Shila wasn't thrilled with the hayride.  She was ready for her nap.  Thankfully, she fell asleep soon after we started to move.

On this day in 2010...

The girls painted pumpkins.

That evening our friends, the Hearns, watched Ellary and Shila while we celebrated our anniversary.  Adam surprised me with a helicopter ride over the city and an amazing dinner.
